This is the easiest smoothie you’ll ever make. It’s super filling, full of probiotics from the Kefir for a healthy digestive tract and will give you lots of energy without breaking the bank! Work this into my weekly meal plan HERE.
1 Cup Kefir
1 Cup Organic Frozen Berries
1 Tbsp Oil (Flaxseed or Grapeseed are great)
Optional – Agave syrup to taste for sweetener
I use a Vitamix blender. There are other blenders on the market you may love, but I’m a huge Vitamix advocate when it comes to children and hiding all those veggies into a delicious smoothie! Here’s the basic version new which you can purchase by clicking the image.
This is a more budget-friendly refurbished Vitamix. The cost of these machines is very high, but it’s one of the pieces you won’t regret putting the money into. It’s a blender on steroids. The smoothies will be creamier without the icey consistency. You can also do dry ingredients mixing. No matter what you throw in there, it grinds it up to a nice, smooth consistency!

First, put your frozen berries into the blender. Next, add your Kefir, oil and optional agave. Start with a small amount of agave syrup and you can always add more to taste. It’s pretty sweet and doesn’t take much at all. One bottle will last you a very long time. Hit the blend button and you’re good to go. It’s that easy!
